Subprocessors

A subprocessor is another company that handles personal data on our behalf so that we can run what we build. Every one we use is here, with what they do.

This is kept apart from the Privacy Policy because it changes more often than the policy does. It has its own date at the top so you can see how current it is.

Who they are

• Vercel

  Hosts our applications and serves them to your browser. They also count page visits for us, which stores nothing on your device and cannot tell one visitor from another.

• Supabase

  Runs the databases that hold your account and whatever you have put into the products you use.

• Stripe

  Takes payment for paid plans. Your card details go to them and never to us.

• Our email provider

  Delivers the emails a product has to send you, like confirming your address or resetting your password. We will name them here once the arrangement is settled.

• AI model providers

  Where a product uses AI, the request goes to one of a small number of established model providers to be answered. Anthropic, Amazon, Google and Alibaba are the companies involved. How each of them handles a request is governed by their own terms and the agreement we have with them.

• formsubmit.co

  Passes on the contact and beta-request forms from this site. What you type there becomes an email to us, and no Simply application stores any of it.

What leaves Australia

Your account and whatever you have put into a product are stored in Australia.

Some of the companies above are not. The model providers are the clearest case, and so is the relay behind our contact form. Where data goes overseas we rely on the contractual protections those companies offer, and we name them here rather than describing them vaguely, so you can decide for yourself what you make of the arrangement.

When this changes

Adding, removing or replacing one of these happens in the same change that updates this list, and the date at the top moves with it. That is what keeps this page current: it is changed by the same work that changes who we use, rather than by somebody remembering to come back to it.
